Down side hard to find parking but you make it work and figure it out! The hotel staff was very friendly! Place was clean. Bed was comfy. Right in the heart of old San Juan! Walking distance to everything. We could even walk yo our cruise ship with our luggage. The desk clerk was so nice and the Hotel was even nicer than the pictures. We showed up a day before our cruise and enjoyed the Forts. They will also hold your luggage after you check out so you can explorer while you are waiting to board your cruise! The rooftop deck has outside bath tubs to relax while enjoying a bottle of wine. We will be back!

Great hotel Stayed there during the hurricane and could not believe how helpful and friendly the staff was. The facilities are amazing. I loved the roof top tubs and views. The rooms are very nice, four poster beds. The bar top notch.

Perfect location, everything walking distance, bars, restaurants, stores, ATM, drugstores, el Morro, etc. Nice staff at Hotel, very friendly! The only thing I suggest, put a long mirror in every room, and at least 2 bottles of water per room. Treat yourself to this friendly, elegant hotel. Nice hotel. Centrally located. Located in the historic district. No parking at the hotel but a few minutes away in a parking garage for $4. Hotel staff were great and very helpful. Thank you Miguel. From being dropped off at the front door of Casablanca May 12 until we were picked up by taxi at 4 am on May 15, we were blown away at the friendliness of the staff and their eagerness to see to our every need and to ensure we felt at home for our stay. The lobby, dining area, rooftop spa and city viewing area were everything and more than expected from our preview of Casablanca prior to booking our stay. The room we stayed in was beautiful, comfortable and tastefully decorated following the theme of the hotel. Cute hotel right in the center of Old San Juan

This place is really neat. I'm used to getting a lackluster room when I book last-minute through a third-party site, but even though I did that, I got an end room with windows on three sides and killer views. I'm a natural light fanatic, and this old building seems to have lots of windows (or at least translucent light shafts) wherever possible. (Speaking of light, the light fixtures in room are soft light, not garish florescents; though the room was a tad dark -- could have used another lamp.)
The decor is really well done. The Casablanca movie theme had the potential to be heavy-handed and gimmicky, but it doesn't feel that way -- rooms and common areas are done up in a stylish, vaguely Moroccan way (fans of the movie will appreciate the themed touches; those who don't care won't be annoyed by them). Our room had great built-in features (like a wooden desk with a view of the fort), wooden shutters, etc. and nice furnishings, bedding, etc.
Roof deck is sweet! Also, the higher-floor (3rd-5th?) rooms at the ends (like room numbers A and G) should have best views of the fort, as well as street (A) and port (G).
Staff was very friendly.
Everything in Old San Juan is very walkable, so the location is fine.
I really feel like we got a great value.

Great hotel - location and service +++ We had three rooms for an overnight stay prior to a cruise and we were very pleased with CasaBlanca. It's in a great location in Old San Juan - close to many restaurants, clubs, sights. The rooms were very nicely decorated and comfortable. A couple were on the smaller size, but typical for the area. I was most impressed with their rapid reply to our email/contacts since we had two other hotels cancel our reservations due to the hurricane/FEMA situation. Their front desk staff was excellent and it was also nice to have them hold our luggage after check-out so that we could spend more time in the city before going to the cruise ship. Absolutely Fantastic Locate at the heart of El Viejo San Juan, this place is heavenly. The service is outstanding, the staff is super accommodating and pleasant. Magdiel from the night shift was so helpful... everyone was, really. The room was clean and beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The decoration of the hotel is logically Morrocan and of very good taste. Gorgeous lamps, paintings, and pieces of furniture.
There is cold water and coffee by the front desk 24/7. The jacuzzis are on the south tower and are super cool, with showers and bathrooms right in the same area. The tubs are like a dream... they are on the 6th floor of the north tower and the view of the fort and the bay were breathtaking.
A good idea would be to wear a short to go in the tubs as the surface is a bit tough and might damage your bathing suit. More

2 Nights pre-cruise My husband & I stayed here for 2 nights prior to our cruise. We were both very pleased with the level of service we received. Our flight arrived early on the 8th. Michael (night shift coordinator) was on duty when we arrived. He stored our luggage and suggested a great cafe to go have breakfast. When we returned Jorge the daytime service coordinator was on duty. For a very small fee we were able to have early check in as they had a room made up for us while we were at breakfast.
Other members of our group arrived later that afternoon, & Jorge made sure they knew where to find us.
The rooms are not large and amenities in the room are limited. That said, it is very clean & the staff was outstanding. We would definitely stay here again.

Great little space for the end of our honeymoon! We stayed here on the last night of our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! Great location with plenty of fantastic restaurants and nightlife. Relatively close to the airport and not much traffic to return the rental car. As far as the hotel, Chase travel details listed a later checkout time than was accurate and the front desk staff was helpful and kind. The Housekeeping staff was very friendly and the rooms utilize the space extremely well. highly recommend staying here If you are in Old San Juan!

This place is sooo nice and really is a beautiful hotel! What's even better is that the whole staff was Super friendly and very courteous! Miguel and Marc went above and beyond to really make our stay there very enjoyable and memorable. We definitely would stay there again the next time we are in Old San Juan!!

Perfect location We visited in late July thru early August and this location was close to everything in old San Juan. We were able to enjoy a festival close to the water, walk to el morro and enjoy the great restaurants all in two days without breaking a sweat. Case Blanca was a cute, modest, clean, and fashionable location. We will definitely be back. Staff was very polite and helpful. 2 night pre-cruise stay Historic, unique older hotel with some modern amenities. Smaller rooms with balconies were great just not alot of room to navigate with luggage. Rooftop area was very cool, we were able to see cruise ships arrive and depart. No pool but you have to try the tubs on the roof. Totally a have to try at least once.Staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations for dinner and street food favorites. Breakfast downstairs was very enjoyable. Loved the location. The hot tubs on the rooftop are amazing. If you are looking to stay in old San Juan, this is the place!

The hotel is in a good location to walk all of Old San Juan. Every staff member we met was friendly and extremely helpful. We forgot a pair of glasses in our room. The hotel contacted us while we we’re traveling back home and has promised to send the glasses back to us via UPS. That’s excellent service! Beautiful, historic, unique, and quirky hotel. Moroccan theming based around the Casablanca movie. Very comfortable rooms, great beds, prime location.

If you are expecting the Ritz, this is not it. What this hotel is, is purely authentic old town San Juan. From the moment you enter you will go back in time and feel like it's 1900, but with excellent air conditioning. Each room we saw was well appointed and the artwork is great. We had room H9 which was upstairs and opened up onto the sun deck. We had easy access to the outdoor tubs, which seem cheesy, but after a long day of walking and sweating are the perfect way to soak out the aches and enjoy a beer. The breakfast is nothing spectacular, but a couple of eggs, yoghurt, toast and coffee was enough to get me moving and I didn't have go looking. The hotel has an understated luxury that I found more alluring than a big named, box hotel. There will be cats on the terrace, you will hear the neighbors dogs bark, not ever surface is level and the furniture is period. The hotel marries modern with antique in a manner that keeps you comfortable, yet allows you to embrace the classic. If you are staying in the old city, stay here. It will really complete the experience.

LOCATION! Location is very convenient and close to all the shops and restaurants. Everything is walking distance (El Morro, San Cristobal Castle etc). The hotel offers a discounted parking for about $18 a day however if you don't mind walking a couple of blocks you find a $3 per day public parking (ask the name at the reception attendant) The hotel is a bit old however it is very detailed decorated. The rooftop views and the bathtubs were quite unique. We booked the 2 bedroom for our fam and the master room had a small shared balcony to the street which was very tranquil at night and morning to have a cup of wine or coffee. The staff is very courteous and friend and always willing to help. Overall, I will recommend Casa Blanca for a couple of family trip!! So glad we chose the CasaBlanca hotel. Immediately we got hit with a beautiful front desk area and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We booked it as a pre and post cruise hotel because the it was in the center of everything and walking distance to the port. Both rooms were unique and very comfortable. The rooftop was perfect to unwind after a long day of walking.The staff gave fantastic suggestions about what to do and where to eat. Overall, beautiful hotel with great staff. Will definitely stay there again.
