We loved this hotel and the staff was nice. They have a cool rooftop terrace and the bed was comfy. Only downside was the elevator being out of commission for repairs. But I would definitely recommend this spot for the charm, location, etc. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

Fab Boutique Hotel in Old San Juan Casa Blanca really is a fun, unique boutique hotel. There are 2 different mini towers, 3 and 5 floors of rooms. Each tower adds a roof deck with Old San Juan views. Atop the 3 story tower are 3 individual, 4-person hot tubs, just like you'd buy and install at home. Atop the 5 story tower are of course better views, more furniture with shade and 4 claw foot tubs with water connections. Fill them up and soak at your leisure. The rooms are European small, some with frosted windows only facing interior hallways. The lobby is equally small with a restaurant breakfast area adjacent, but well-appointed and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Excellent location. More

Lovely room, cool and convenient in Old San Juan. Easy walk to everywhere. Fabulous staff, great English, fresh sheets every day (great on a beach vacation), always free filtered ice water to refill your bottles in the lobby, Touches of the namesake movie everywhere. Fun giant cabana tubs on top deck with view of city, and very reasonable rates! A four-star stay. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

NICE PLACE LOVE THE STAFF If you are looking for a place to stay in the Old San Juan area and you dont need to have all the extras you will never use during your stay at the overpriced hotels - This is the place, nice, clean, nearby everything in Old San Juan. Most of all personalized services, great staff, helpful and willing to take care of all your needs on your visit to Puerto Rico. This is what you want. Because you are not going to do more than sleep in a hotel in Old San Juan. I loved it, my grandkids loved it and I will return. Great hotel - location and service +++ We had three rooms for an overnight stay prior to a cruise and we were very pleased with CasaBlanca. It's in a great location in Old San Juan - close to many restaurants, clubs, sights. The rooms were very nicely decorated and comfortable. A couple were on the smaller size, but typical for the area. I was most impressed with their rapid reply to our email/contacts since we had two other hotels cancel our reservations due to the hurricane/FEMA situation. Their front desk staff was excellent and it was also nice to have them hold our luggage after check-out so that we could spend more time in the city before going to the cruise ship. I highly recommend CasaBlanca for their "personal touch" and quality service. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

We stayed here for several days recently. Everything was extremely clean, and the staff were very friendly. We got stuck in the curfew with the virus going around, and the staff accommodated us and gave us a refund for the days we weren't able to stay, because we had to leave early. Air conditioners are ice cold, and rooms are higher quality than others have posted. Rooftop is great to hang out on, with nice tubs to soak in as well. The hotel is right in the middle of the action in Old San Juan, and has a very historical feel. Only a 10 minute walk from a very nice beach across from the capital building. A++++ we will be back!

This hotel is a true gem! We loved the unique decor throughout, and the rooftop terrace provided a great vista. Located very central so walking distance to all of Old San Juan. Several restaurants within 2-3 blocks, as is Walgreens and a grocer. All of this plus an on site breakfast restaurant which turns out to be superb. To top it off, the customer service was 10 out of 10! We were genuinely greeted every time we entered or exited the lobby. Neighborhood felt secure, but for added safety, doors are monitored and only electronically opened by staff. We have stayed in San Juan many times, and have paid both much more and less. We absolutely felt we received our best value at Hotel Casablanca. (We did stay in an upgraded King room) Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities

Wonderful Hotel We stayed here a few days before our cruise. We wanted to explore Old San Juan. Located a few blocks from the cruise port=excellent.. We arrived and were greated by friendly staff. The bellhop helped us with our luggage. We stayed on the fourth floor two room Superior Suite with a balcony overlooking the street below. Great room indeed=kids loved having their own room and I loved the balcony. The rooftop lounge area was so relaxing. We'd sit up there watching the nightlife below. The lobby was very stunning. clean, modern, with Casablanca always playing. If you want a beautiful hotel in the heart of historic city)everything easy walk away) and one that is super close to cruise port==stay at this charming hotel.

VERY DIFFERENT HOTEL- LOVED IT.NOT FOR EVERYBODY great place. very unique and cozy. location is terrific. Miguel at the front desk bends over backwards to please the guests. the continuous running of the movie Casablanca with Bogart and Bacall just takes you back to that period. one observation is that the bar or cafe area is closed and it will be a HUGE PLUS for them to reopen. Its nice not to make your coffee in the morning. ( they have it in room but...) For sure I will stay here again. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
