A Real Find This is a beautiful, clean and unique place to stay. The rooms are gorgeous and are like living in the early 1900s in CasaBlanca. Attention to detail in decor is amazing. Rooftop hot tubs and lounging areas are great. The "speak easy" bar is wonderful. Food from the kitchen is great and well priced. The hotel has a generator which is a must in Puerto Rico as power outages are common. The staff is courteous and very easy to deal with. They also have a deal with one of the parking garages for $15/ 24hrs. Right in tthe heart of Old San Juan, fabulous!!!

From being dropped off at the front door of Casablanca May 12 until we were picked up by taxi at 4 am on May 15, we were blown away at the friendliness of the staff and their eagerness to see to our every need and to ensure we felt at home for our stay. The lobby, dining area, rooftop spa and city viewing area were everything and more than expected from our preview of Casablanca prior to booking our stay. The room we stayed in was beautiful, comfortable and tastefully decorated following the theme of the hotel. We are definitely planning a return visit to Old San Juan and Casablanca will be our hotel of choice. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities

2 Nights pre-cruise My husband & I stayed here for 2 nights prior to our cruise. We were both very pleased with the level of service we received. Our flight arrived early on the 8th. Michael (night shift coordinator) was on duty when we arrived. He stored our luggage and suggested a great cafe to go have breakfast. When we returned Jorge the daytime service coordinator was on duty. For a very small fee we were able to have early check in as they had a room made up for us while we were at breakfast.
Other members of our group arrived later that afternoon, & Jorge made sure they knew where to find us.
The rooms are not large and amenities in the room are limited. That said, it is very clean & the staff was outstanding. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the 1st hotel I always try to book whenever I visit Puerto Rico. The price is always reasonable, I like to location in OSJ near the garages . This property is consistent in their, cleanness, working AC, hot water and attentiveness. The staff is always helpful and sweet. I travel mostly by myself and I feel safe in the property. If you are seeking a strategic place in OSJ this is it. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities

Hands down the best hotel to say at when in Old San Juan. My wife and I have been spoiled, not only is the location absolutely perfect but this hotel has a great staff helped us with every answer to every question and meet or every needs. Beautifully designed with the addition of the roof top terrace to put a cherry on top. The only thing I was disappointed in is the bar not being opened. I could of used a few night caps.

Convenient location Location, location and location. 5 minute walk to Ft. Cristobal. 10 minute walk to the pier. Restaurants everywhere. The staff was welcoming and efficient. Every request was met immediately and with a smile. Elevator working. The rooms are small, you may need to live out of your suitcase. They are just a little bigger than a cruise ship stateroom. Small bathrooms, shower only. Room had a flat screen TV, safe, coffee maker and a tablet to communicate with the front desk. No hairdryer, you can request one. They have beach towels if you want to visit the beach. Free Wi-Fi worked well in the lobby, not so much in the room. We will certainly return to this hotel our next visit to OSJ, you can't beat the value you receive. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

VERY DIFFERENT HOTEL- LOVED IT.NOT FOR EVERYBODY great place. very unique and cozy. location is terrific. Miguel at the front desk bends over backwards to please the guests. the continuous running of the movie Casablanca with Bogart and Bacall just takes you back to that period. one observation is that the bar or cafe area is closed and it will be a HUGE PLUS for them to reopen. Its nice not to make your coffee in the morning. ( they have it in room but...) For sure I will stay here again. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

The hotel was beautiful, very clean and sanitized. The hotel staff was very warm, welcoming and helpful, Also bilingual for those who are not. The room was cozy. The location is great! I also liked the view from the roof top, and I loved the roof top stone bath. Breakfast was delicious, and not very expensive at all. I will highly recommend this hotel, and I will stay here again. Beautiful decor and architecture. Warm, friendly staff. Excellent location. Definitely get a room with a balcony if you can. It's an old building that does show some wear and tear structurally, but that's to be expected with a building of this age and in that climate. It was a wonderful experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities

Fun decor, Wonderful staff! We loved our 1 night stay here. Our room was quite large and perfect for our family of 4. The location was central allowing us to easily walk around the area. The decor through out was fun, colorful and had some intresting details. There is lots of roof top seating and great views of the surrounding area.
The staff here is great and our check in was a breeze. When we were a little lost trying to find our room a gentleman came to our rescue and escorted us to our room even helping us with our luggage!
Unfortunately for me I woke up the next morning with an issue with my eye. I needed to get medical help immediately. The woman at the front desk was a huge help locating the right doctor for me to go to and spoke directly with the office to explain my situation. Sadly I did not get her name but she saved the day! A hidden gem This was our first time staying in Old San Juan. CasaBlanca Hotel is right in the center of shops, restaurants and historic sites. It is easy walking distance from the forts and a beautiful walk around the sea walls. The rooms were adorable and quaint. There wasn't a lot of storage (no closet, just a rack with three hangers, etc.) But, who comes to Old San Juan for storage? Our room had a cute balcony (shared with the neighboring room) overlooking the cobblestone street. The restaurant was only open for breakfast, but the food smelled good (we aren't breakfast people, so we didn't try it.) Truly, the very best thing about the hotel was the staff. Miguel and Jorge were SO friendly and helped us make plans and navigate the city. At one point we got lost looking for a gas station - so we were low on gas, stuck in traffic and my phone for some reason wouldn't connect to the internet in a foreign country.......so I called the front desk and shared my panic attack with Miguel. I couldn't even see the street names, but I described the buildings around me and he figured out where we were and talked us to a gas station and set us on the path back to the hotel. He will always be a hero to us. We loved our stay there and give it our highest recommendation.
