Wonderful stay at unique hotel This hotel is such a gem! Beautiful decor, helpful staff, great location! We were only able to stay for a night, but the location was perfect as a base of operations for exploring Old San Juan. There a many restaurants and shops one block over and the fort is a quick 10 minute walk.

Wonderful staff!!! Great location. Gave it five star rating because although it lacks amenities it makes up for in front desk personal. Roberto, Jorge and Miguel were fabulous . The owner is very lucky to have a staff that caters to making sure each quest is made to feel that special. I was there for a destination wedding at the most expensive hotel in town El Convento. When I arrived I checked with their front desk to be certain I would be able to get a taxi later in the evening to take me back to Casa Blanca. Sure "no problem'. At 9:30 it's now "very difficult to get a taxi ". Maybe twenty minutes not sure. After I waited 40 minutes I called Casa Blanca and Jorge had a taxi at El Convento in 10 minutes. Miguel went out of his way to help a friend of mine who was not a quest locate a beauty salon , actually gave her three choices. Miguel showed me expansion going on which will add units as well as a bar and restaurant. ! Looking forward to returning on my next visit. Amazing stay. Hotel was located in the middle of everything. Minutes from the beach and walks from the amusements. Room was a little small but didn’t mind since with was a room over look the main road from the balcony. Miguel (staff member) was amazing. Made us feel at home and had answers for all our questions and needs. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

Bed was very very comfortable bathroom was smaller than I expected. I had breakfast which I really didn’t care for and which you have to pay for separately because the restaurant is separate from the hotel even though it’s in the lobby. The people who work there are very kind and attentive.Overall I loved where it was located in old San Juan so I would definitely stay there again. Lovely Hotel in Old San Juan We stayed at this hotel prior to getting on our cruise with Royal Caribbean. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly!! The room was perfect, very comfortable bed, lots of pillows. There was a note in the room apologizing in advance for any problems we might encounter, the Island still had some issues from Hurricane Maria. We had no issues, no power outages, air conditioner worked all night long, plenty of hot water, clean linens and towels. We were VERY impressed with our accommodations, how friendly the desk clerk was for checking in at midnight (and a great sense of humor) and with the recommendation for a good place for breakfast ~ Cafe Manolin. This started us out on a perfect vacation. We had been concerned after watching the news, but Puerto Rico and her residents are open for business and very friendly!! The room seemed a bit pricey at first, but after researching MANY properties in Old San Juan, the CasaBlanca said they had power, air conditioning, etc. It was WORTH a few extra dollars to know we had a fully functioning hotel. This Hotel set the entire tone for our vacation which was fabulous!! Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

Great hotel in the center of Old San Juan. Nice rooftop, but a large area was closed and under construction. We loved the "hidden " bar and stopped by every evening for a nightcap. We had breakfast once at the hotel (not included). The Belgium waffles were great, but the coffee (no capuchino) was bitter. Service at the bar, restaurant, and front desk was always friendly and helpful. The room cleaning service, on the other hand , needs some improvements. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Very cozy, homey vibe. Friendly and helpful staff, who are more than ready to help from carrying bags to local food or entertainment options. As advertised, right in the heart of Old San Juan, so you really get a feel for the city. Just a few minutes walk to the historical tourist areas, which offer breathtaking views. 10/10 recommended and if I come to PR again will definitely stay there

Highly recommend CasaBlanca Hotel We just returned from a great trip to PR! We chose CasaBlanca Hotel because of its premium location - and weren't disappointed. Everything in Old San Juan was truly just steps away. The staff was friendly and the room type we selected (a premium suite) was perfect for my husband and I and our two children. I also loved the decor and charm of this somewhat eclectic hotel. The sitting area and bathtubs on the roof were nice features as well. Another great perk of staying at this hotel was the parking garage discount. (You have to ask for it). The savings were significant - over $50 each 24 hours we parked. We only had 2 complaints during our stay: Perhaps it was due to Covid-19 precautions, but we didn't have daily room cleaning, which was a little disappointing. However, there was a large trash bin close to our room, so we emptied our own trash on a daily basis. That said, the floors could have used a good sweeping every day. Also, while we were hardly in the room except to sleep at night, the t.v. wasn't working. We would've liked to catch the local news or another show but the only stations available were either movies geared towards young children or porn. Neither were appropriate for our family, so we didn't watch any t.v. If you're looking for a luxurious hotel with all the bells & whistles, this probably isn't the one for you. However, if you want to be central to all OSJ has to offer - and in a comfortable space, we highly recommend CasaBlanca! Casablanca Hotel was everything we needed. The staff was super friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. There were no weird smells which are pretty common in the old San Juan area. The bed was comfy. Would recommend to others and stay again. Perfect location in walking distance to everything. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

This is a very quaint hotel, centrally located to food, entertainment and shopping in Old San Juan. The staff was friendly and the their service extends beyond just your stay! We were able to leave our bags after checkout and stop in to use the restroom and rooftop lounge when we returned from our cruise.
It is within walking distance to one cruise port, but not the other, so check your port location if you're staying here for a cruise. This location isn't ideal if you plan to stay in the hotel all day, it's small with not a lot of amenities, but there were just enough to make the experience memorable. We'll be back!

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly. Miguel was awesome and make you feel at home, very sweet. Hotel is in a good location in Old San Juan with walking distance to points of interests. They offer hair dryer and straightener, but you have to ask for it at no fee. Very flexible with request as well. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
