Nice small boutique like hotel. Very artsy. No pool or workout rooms like the chain hotels. Off one of the Rick streets in old San Juan. Walking distance to both Castillo Cristobal and the other. Not really any parking unless you park on the street. Semi private jacuzzi on the rooftop and sitting/smoking area. The decor is beautiful. Price is reasonable. Customer service is good. You need a negative CoVid test or vaccine to enter.

Charming and Eclectic Service was super friendly and warm. They were able to accommodate my request for early check in and late checkout. Room was comfortable and the whole place is absolutely gorgeous. The shower was a little tricky to figure out and the floor could’ve been cleaner, but the Saharan Dust was in full swing so I won’t be harsh. Location is great! Was able to walk around, find amazing food. I’m from PR and Old San Juan was my stomping grounds for years, this hotel has now been added to my list of favorite spots. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

Great location! Friendly staff! The staff were wonderful, and you couldn't pick a better location. I was expecting small rooms, but boy were they small. We dont spend much time in the rooms, so size doesnt bother us, but the first room they put us in didn't have any windows, and was on the first floor practically opening into the lobby. The door literally opened onto the side of the bed. This is the first time in my life that I asked for a different room. They were very nice and moved me to a room with a small window that felt more like a hotel room, or at least a bedroom, than a strange storage room conversion. I would stay there again, but would be sure to ask for a room with a window, and not on the ground floor. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

We stayed here for several days recently. Everything was extremely clean, and the staff were very friendly. We got stuck in the curfew with the virus going around, and the staff accommodated us and gave us a refund for the days we weren't able to stay, because we had to leave early. Air conditioners are ice cold, and rooms are higher quality than others have posted. Rooftop is great to hang out on, with nice tubs to soak in as well. The hotel is right in the middle of the action in Old San Juan, and has a very historical feel. Only a 10 minute walk from a very nice beach across from the capital building. A++++ we will be back!

The CasaBlanca Hotel is magical. A week after getting home, I am still thinking about how beautiful it is and how kind the staff were to my mother. She has been taking Spanish classes in retirement and had so much fun testing her communication skills with the hotel employees -- especially the housekeeping staff. Staying here made our trip to Old San Juan very special. As mentioned in another review, if a large room size, strong water pressure, fast elevator, and luxury are important to you, then a chain hotel is probably a better fit. If you're less picky about that stuff, and you want a bit of magic, then the CasaBlanca Hotel is perfect.

Friendly, charming boutique hotel in Old San Juan Centrally located in Old San Juan, close to municipal parking. Friendly and attentive staff. Small, quiet room, but that comes with the location of old Spanish architecture, it was very nicely renovated. Great rooftop deck. We appreciated the ice machine - got an ice bucket daily to cool our beverages after a day of walking. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

Love it! Loved Old San Juan and Casablanca is right smack dab in the middle. Miquel at the front desk was amazing in helping us find beaches and restaurants. The lobby looks like something out of the movie (which is playing) I would recommend this place for couples. Nothing to do for kids (no pool) And be sure your room has a window. We moved to 5F and it was a great room. Not any amazing view but that's what walking around is for, right?? Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

Love this Hotel We've stayed here twice and really love it! The staff is wonderful and very helpful with anything that you would need. The rooms are smaller but very comfortable and nicely decorated. They have a restaurant on site which is also very good, opened from 8am to 1pm (breakfast and lunch only).

2 nights before Cruise Very clean hotel, staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful. Perfect location, close to everything, we could actually walk to the cruise port in 5 minutes. Great little shops and restaurants so close. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Lovely Boutique hotel in the middle of old town San Jose This quaint and interesting hotel is truly something different. Lots of history, art and style. Rooms are small but comfortable. There is a very cool little bar with Julio tending and making the most delicious drinks that you could choose to take to the rooftop bar. Truly one of a kin, highly recommended.

We found the staff great - helpful, clear in their communication and instructions. Lobby was nice. Room and bathroom nice with plenty of towels and soap and things. Would have liked a brighter bedside lamp, but general room illumination was great and lots of day light that could be affectively shuttered out if need be. Quite for the most part with the only noise coming from outside. Comfortable beds. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities

This hotel is a true gem! We loved the unique decor throughout, and the rooftop terrace provided a great vista. Located very central so walking distance to all of Old San Juan. Several restaurants within 2-3 blocks, as is Walgreens and a grocer. All of this plus an on site breakfast restaurant which turns out to be superb. To top it off, the customer service was 10 out of 10! We were genuinely greeted every time we entered or exited the lobby. Neighborhood felt secure, but for added safety, doors are monitored and only electronically opened by staff. We have stayed in San Juan many times, and have paid both much more and less. We absolutely felt we received our best value at Hotel Casablanca. (We did stay in an upgraded King room) Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities

Loved this hotel! Perfect stay in old San Juan! Great location, comfy bed, such friendly and helpful staff! Cynthia at the front desk was very warm and welcoming when we arrived and took the time with us to give her suggestions of where to eat in old San Juan. She gave us suggestions of a variety of places she thought we would enjoy. Also gave us suggestions for beaches to visit and good tips for visiting the rainforest. We felt very grateful for her time and kindness.

We had last minute travel changes thanks to Hurricane Dorian. Thankfully, with the help of my in-laws, we were able to get a reservation at this adorable boutique hotel. From the moment we entered and waited to check-in at the desk, my husband and I fell in love with this business. The art is funky and eclectic while instilling a "get to know your fellow travelers in the lobby" kind of vibe. The front desk staff we interacted with were both helpful and charming. Due to the impending storm during our stay, most of the local businesses were boarded up and closed our first day there. We were able to find a few restaurants that were open, all of which were slammed with a constant flow of customers but unfortunately were not able to find a supermarket open by afternoon. The man at the front desk was quick to run around (in the rain) to find out which bodegas were still open. We were not expecting this service but were extremely pleased and he was able to point out exactly where they were on the map available at the front desk. The tubs on the roof were lovely, albeit a bit cold after being rained on all day. All in all, we loved their hospitality and have already discussed returning to Old San Juan and staying here on future Caribbean trips.

This hotel was a gem in the heart of Old San Juan. I would love to come back and just stay here for a weekend and enjoy more of the bathtubs up on their rooftop.
Their front desk attendants are the BEST! Miguel is always so kind and helpful with recommendations of local food spots.
Near the hotel you have so many bars and a quick walk takes you to the port where all the cruises dock. Right next to hem you can find a ferry which is only .50 cents per way/per person which takes you to the Bacardi factory (a must do in Puerto Rico)
Also I love the rooms. The beds are very comfortable, cozy and great for a good night sleep. The decoration is jaw dropping... again I can stay here for a little longer. The bathrooms are well equipped and if you need a hair dryer or steamer than you can request one with your personalized room tablet. So convenient! You ale your request and one do the kind front desk guys will come up and bring over to you.
I honestly could have not chosen a better hotel. I was so happy with our stay that I am sad to leave!

Great Location in Ild San Juan Employees were wonderfully accommodating especially Miguel at the front desk and Noah the bellman. We had Room 2A with a small balcony overlooking Fortaleza Street, which was a wonderful place for morning coffee or an evening beer or wine. We did not eat in their restaurant, but found the rooftop sun lounge area very nice. We would definitely return to the CasaBlanca. Lil piece of heaven Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted. We were allowed to leave our luggage with the front desk since we arrived early and could not check in yet. So, we took advantage and went about sightseeing old San Juan. The location of the hotel is perfectly situated in town to go and see everything. Our room (a suite) was classic and clean. Cannot beat the location, price and service. Will definitely be back! Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
