Lil piece of heaven Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted. We were allowed to leave our luggage with the front desk since we arrived early and could not check in yet. So, we took advantage and went about sightseeing old San Juan. The location of the hotel is perfectly situated in town to go and see everything. Our room (a suite) was classic and clean. Cannot beat the location, price and service. Will definitely be back! Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

Great place to stay in Old San Juan The CasaBlanca Hotel is a quaint eclectic boutique hotel. Famous for their rooftop bath tubs. Rooms are small as in most old downtown hotels. Facility was clean and staff was great. Old San Juan is fun to explore but beware driving and parking in the area can be difficult and is paid parking everywhere. Lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

What a great hotel in the heart of Old San Juan! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are on the small side but nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. We asked for a room with a terrace, which made a big difference, I suppose, as some reviews complained that their room had no window. The terrace had a small table with two chairs and looked out over the street…lovely. The hotel has two rooftop sitting areas that offer a great view and have comfortable seating with protection from the sun. Both rooftops have hot tubs, one with individual hot tubs and the other with typical hot tubs for several people. The breakfast is varied and quite delicious. The hotel is uniquely decorated and so interesting. My favorite thing in the hotel is the “speakeasy” bar. It is exactly what I imagine a “speakeasy” to have been: small and dark but very comfortable and a full bar. If you want a chain hotel experience or super luxurious accommodations, stay elsewhere, but you’re really missing out. I highly recommend the Casa Blanca.

This was a charming and quirky hotel with friendly staff. The room we stayed in was huge and roomy with comfortable beds, and a large, clean bathroom. The roof top terrace is beautiful! And the bathtubs on the roof offered such a cool and unique experience. I will always seek to stay at this hotel for the roof top bath tubs alone lol. Had a 3 night stay. We wanted a boutique hotel right in the heart of Old San Juan ans it delivered.. Lobby is well appointed and matches the vibe of the area. Our room was exactly what we expected and was well maintained. All the staff was very helpful and friendly.. Miguel is a great employee and he was always helpful and a genuine friendliness about him. We will return.

Loved the old world charm! We couldn’t have been happier with our stay!!! The staff was kind, funny, helpful and were great about making sure we got our lost luggage! The room was perfectly quirky and they made it comfortable for all 3 of us. Just forgot a blanket for the rollaway bed. Plenty of towels, shower was awesome and the rooftop baths are a must do item! The hotel is in the heart of Old San Juan and it was awesome to be able to walk to dinner and then the square. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

Wedding at Casablanca Hotel My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Casablanca Hotel and stayed there for 4 days before and we absolutely loved it! The rooms are on the smaller side (the suites are bigger) but since we were spending most of our time walking around old San Juan, hanging out on one of the three rooftop terraces, or seeing family, we certainly didn’t mind. They have three hot tubs that are separated and more private, which was wonderful. The breakfast and mimosas at the hotel are delicious and our reception was perfect four our 20 person wedding. Beautiful hotel, great location, friendly staff. We will be back!

This hotel was perfect for my needs. It was at an incredible location in Old San Juan - right near lots of tourist attractions. It was better priced than other similar hotels in the area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was also very quaint and romantic. There are tubs on the roof which are very romantic to bathe in. My room was not very big, but it had everything I needed, and I wouldn't have needed more space. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Great location! Friendly staff! The staff were wonderful, and you couldn't pick a better location. I was expecting small rooms, but boy were they small. We dont spend much time in the rooms, so size doesnt bother us, but the first room they put us in didn't have any windows, and was on the first floor practically opening into the lobby. The door literally opened onto the side of the bed. This is the first time in my life that I asked for a different room. They were very nice and moved me to a room with a small window that felt more like a hotel room, or at least a bedroom, than a strange storage room conversion. I would stay there again, but would be sure to ask for a room with a window, and not on the ground floor. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

Great architecture, rooms, and rooftops to hang out We were lucky to get 3 weeknights here last minute, the place is normally booked up.
Room was great, high ceilings, comfy bed and AC, and a balcony and windows. The wooden "curtains" also keep the room nearly blacked out.
Hotel itself was beautiful. The rooftops (one with soaking tubs, one with three hot tubs) was a great addition if you're looking to just relax with your travel buddies instead of going out to the Old San Juan bars
Location - easy walk to restaurants and bars in old San Juan. Great sports bar next door (Greengo's) we watched Euro finals at in case you want to catch some games

I loved the room balcony, the rooftop stone baths and the customer service was impeccable! The front desk was awesome. A young lady was very accommodating and answered every single question we had with patience. Bravo! I also forgot to mention that the location is one of the best. It is in the heart of it all. The hotel was both modern yet had a very historic feeling to it. Exactly what you need for a night in el viejo San Juan.
