CASABLANCA HOTEL CELEBRATES INAUGURATION OF ITS NEW ELEVATOR
San Juan, PR Hotel CasaBlanca located at 316 Fortaleza Street in Old San Juan celebrated the ribbon cutting of its long-awaited elevator. It is branded Canton and shipped from North Canton, Ohio in the United States to Puerto Rico in parts. The design and assembly took place in the Island which brought more jobs for the Hotel and its team of engineers. It has a capacity for 12 passengers and complies with all regulations by law. After the toast, the guests at the opening were able to enjoy the elevator ride, delighting in its panoramic view of San Cristobal Castle, the Atlantic Ocean, and the cruises of Old San Juan.
“Before we had to accommodate our guests by floors according to their age and physical condition, locating those with limitations in the rooms on the first floors, now all guests will enjoy the views of the higher floors and the terrace. The process to realize the elevator of the boutique-style hotel was a very careful, one had to choose the design that was respected and kept in tune with the architecture of the colonial building.
